I don't believe that this has anything to do with the host node crash. This
seems to be a problem inside your VPS that would have occurred upon any
restart. I've changed your /boot/grub/grub.conf to boot the previous kernel
but it did not help. I recommend to re-install your VPS and restore the data
from your backup.
