1API产品变更——域名解析服务

自2018年10月15日起，1API及旗下HexoNet域名解析服务（DNS）产品服务规格发生变化。

DNS根据产品类型分为旧版DNS、新版基础DNS和新版高级DNS三项服务。

其中旧版DNS服务自2019年10月15日结束运营，如域名在1API注册，则在旧版DNS到期后自动调整为新版基础DNS；而在1API以外注册商注册的域名，旧版结束运营后默认停止服务，除非用户升级为新版高级DNS服务或将域名转至1API享受新版基础DNS服务。

2018年10月15日起薪注册或修改DNS配置的在1API注册的域名，自动设置为新版基础DNS服务，费用为免费。

新版高级DNS服务同时接受在1API注册的域名及其他注册商的域名。该产品根据用户支付的费用不同而限制每个月的域名解析请求数。当本月域名解析请求资源耗尽后，本月该域名暂停解析，用户可以升级至更高版本增加域名解析配额。高级DNS服务明确支持DNSSEC。

Hi Customers,

Starting on October 15th, 2018 7:00PM UTC, HEXONET is changing how our DNS services operates. This is an official notice that customers are required to read, understand and plan for the following DNS zone types:

Legacy DNS - Any and All DNS Zones Created BEFORE October 15, 2018
Basic DNS - New Free DNS Zones Created AFTER October 15, 2018
Premium DNS - New Paid DNS Zones Created AFTER October 15, 2018
Legacy DNS

Existing DNS zones and those zones created before October 15th, 2018, will be classified as Legacy DNS zones. These DNS zones will continue to operate unaffected and unchanged. However, support for Legacy DNS zones will only be available for exactly one-year from today (until October 15, 2019). Operation and migration of these Legacy DNS Zones are as follows:

Legacy DNS Zone Where HEXONET/1API is the Registrar of the Domain: These DNS zones will continue to operate unaffected and unchanged (under original agreed upon terms and conditions) until October 15th, 2019. After the one-year grace period, the DNS zones that have not been upgraded to Premium DNS will be automatically (and without charge) converted to DNS zones under the new and free Basic DNS terms and conditions. The following apply:

Customers can convert and upgrade these Legacy DNS zones into the paid Premium DNS at anytime during the year.
If the respective domain name for a Legacy DNS zone is transferred to another registrar or expires during the one-year grace period, the DNS zone will be permanently deleted.

Legacy DNS Zone Where HEXONET/1API is NOT the Registrar of the Domain (External): These DNS zones will continue to operate unaffected and unchanged (under original agreed upon terms and conditions) until October 15th, 2019, including the monthly service fees. After the one-year grace period, the DNS zones that have not been upgraded to Premium DNS will be automatically deleted (only Premium DNS allows for DNS zones with domain names registered at other registrars). The following apply:

Customers can convert and upgrade these Legacy DNS zones into the paid Premium DNS at anytime during the year.

New Basic DNS

Basic DNS is our new free DNS service that is available with the registration of a domain name. You will be able to create and manage a DNS zone and records like before. Basic DNS is only for domain names registered and continued to be registered at HEXONET.

New Premium DNS

Premium DNS is HEXONET's newest and latest DNS solution built on an Anycast network for faster and more reliable DNS resolution. In addition to creating and managing zones and records, you will be able to monitor your DNS zone year-round, gain insights on DNS traffic via HEXONET's new DNS Analytics dashboard and have full DNSSEC support. Premium DNS can be purchased to service any domain name, regardless if it is registered with HEXONET or not.
