It's come to our attention that you've created new accounts that have been using the referral code from this account. The referral system is in place to have existing customers refer new customers for service on Linode. The system is not to be used to create a new account and use your own referral so that you receive the referral credit.

We must ask that you discontinue using your own referral code for new accounts. If this trend continues we'll need need to remove all of the referral credits on your account.

Thank you for your continued business at Linode and let us know if we can be of any questions regarding this matter.
