04/11/2012 02:28 Hello,
At this time, we have experienced unauthorized remote access to some of our VPS nodes. Not all nodes were effected – as you are experiencing issues connecting to your VE, it has likely been involved in this matter. According to logs, the VEs were simply destroyed using OpenVZ functions – no data has been transferred out or copied. This issue is a severe inconvenience to you and all of our customers, and the primary reason all of our nodes are now locked down to local access only. We are currently provisioning new nodes so we can simply recreate the device with the same IP address.
If you have any specific questions on this matter, please do not hesitate to respond back to this ticket. At this time you should receive a new welcome email with your normal IP and login information.
Thank you for your understanding and patience in this matter – if you require assistance with restoring any type of self-taken backups, we can surely help.
Regards
Alex T.

Due to the massive attack, and force removal of each VE, we do not have the copies available on a per VE basis. We are glad to help you restore any backups you may have.
We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and are working hard to rememdy each client's situation with the best outcome we can possibly provide.
